Open End Wrenches or open-ended spanners are hand tools used to tighten or remove fasteners such as nuts and bolts. They have a U shaped opening that grips two opposite sides of a fastener. Additionally, open-ended spanners normally have two heads, each having a different size, and are also available in combination with a ring spanner. Open end wrenches are typically made from chrome alloy steel and are available in different sizes and sets.
