Release agents are also known as parting agents and mold releases, are solutions used to facilitate easy removal of cast parts from its mold. They are applied to the contact surface of the mold to create a barrier and prevent its adhesion to molded materials. Easy removal of casted products from their molds avoid breakages on casted parts but may require residue removal or further finishing.
