ABOUT THIS CATEGORY
Countersink drill bits are used to create a countersink on top of a pilot hole. This allows the head of the screw to be seated perfectly and to be seamlessly hidden from the surface of the workpiece. The common types of countersink bits include the fluted bits with one or more cutting edges and the cross-hole bits that have an angled hole that acts as the cutting edge. Countersink drill bits are available in different sizes and sets.
