Product Features
- This treatment results in reduced friction, greater heat dissipation and reduced cold welding - which means higher speed and feed rates with greatly increased tool life
- Titanium Nitride (TiN) Coated Countersinks have a very hard gold coloured surface finish
- This coating is only a few microns thick and is achieved by Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD)
- As with all surface coated tools, performance will deteriorate after resharpening
- The fluted countersink cutter is used to provide a heavy chamfer in the entrance to a drilled hole
