Industrial Timing Belts, or synchronous belts, are engineered to transfer power between two shafts. The grooves or teeth in the surface of the belts avoid slippage and guarantee that all connected moving parts move synchronously. Timing belts are typically made from rubber reinforced with high-tensile fibres such fibreglass, Kevlar/Aramid, carbon fiber or steel. Timing Belts have diverse applications in industries such as textile, chemical, mining, and paper among others.
