Industrial Timing Belts, or synchronous belts, are engineered to transfer power between two shafts. The grooves or teeth in the surface of the belts avoid slippage and guarantee that all connected moving parts are moving synchronously. Timing belts are typically made from rubber reinforced with high-tensile fibers like fiberglass, Kevlar, carbon fiber or steel. Timing Belts have diverse applications in industries such as textile, chemical, mining, and paper among others.
