ABOUT THIS CATEGORY

Tungsten electrodes are metal rods with tapered tips made from tungsten, known to have the highest melting point among metals at 3,410 degrees Celsius. These tungsten electrodes are not consumed in the welding process but transfer the welding current to the arc. They may come in pure tungsten or an alloy with other rare-earth elements and are available in various sizes and lengths.
