Shackles, also known as gyves, are pieces of hardware that consist of a U-shaped metal with a clevis pin or bolt across the opening. They are primarily used as connecting links of different chains or slings set up for lifting, securing, or rigging applications. D or Dee shackles, also known as straight or chain shackles, are designed for connecting two components only. Bow shackles or anchor shackles, on the other hand, are capable of connecting multiple components. These shackles are made from stainless steel, making them suitable for outdoor use, and they are available in different sizes to meet specific application requirements. Shackles are commonly used in construction, mining, logistics, and manufacturing industries, among others.
