Socket countersunk screws are threaded fasteners designed with a hexagonal recess into the head. With this, they require an appropriately sized Allen key or hex key to drive them in securing materials in place. More importantly, these screws are particularly designed with a countersunk head that sits flush in a predrilled countersunk hole. Socket countersunk screws are commonly made of stainless steel or high-grade alloy steel and are widely used in electronics, machinery, engine, and furniture assembly, among others.
