Hex Keys, also known as hexagon keys, hex wrenches, Allen keys, and Allen wrenches, are simple hand-held tools used for turning screws and bolts with a hexagon-shaped head socket. They are made from steel with hexagonal cross-section and are typically bent in an “L” shape. The hexagonal structure of allen keys creates six pressure points with the fastener, resulting in a tighter grip. Hex keys are available in different sizes and sets.
