Heavy Duty Drive Belts, also referred to as V Belts or Vee Belt, are used to transmit force to auxiliary components of trucks and buses. They are specially designed to withstand and operate in extreme temperatures and/or vibrations. They have trapezoidal cross-sections that wedge into the mating grooves of pulleys to provide great traction and avoid slippage. V belts are commonly made from rubber with tensile cord reinforcements for improved durability and strength. Heavy-duty drive belts come in metric or imperial standards
