Lever blocks or lever hoists are mechanisms used for vertical and horizontal movement of heavy loads across most industries. They consist of a ratcheting lever that transfer force into a liftwheel that moves the load chain. These load chains are fitted with load hooks with safety latches for securing a particular load. Additionally, lever hoists have top hooks used to fasten itself unto a rigid support brace. Lever blocks are available in various weight capacities and are commonly used in mining, manufacturing, engineering, construction, and warehousing operations.
