ABOUT THIS CATEGORY
Plate castors or casters consist of a single or compound wheel on a fork used to make stationary objects movable and is distinguished by its flat, square-shaped mounting surface. These mounting surfaces have holes in each corner for ease of installation. Due to the larger area of the mounting surface, these types of casters can generally carry heavier loads. Plate casters are the most common type of casters and are used in all industries including commercial and industrial carts, trolleys, and other material handling equipment. They come in rigid, swivel, and with braking system varieties and are available in various wheel types and weight capacities.
