ABOUT THIS CATEGORY

Thread inserts also known as threaded bushings are inserted into a hole to provide a new thread or to repair an existing one. They offer a durable thread in various materials that are too soft to place a thread into. Additionally, they can also be used to convert existing threads to accept either imperial or metric fasteners. Threaded inserts are usually made from either stainless or carbon steel and are available in different sizes.
