Drop-in anchors are female fasteners designed for use in concrete. They are dropped in pre-drilled holes and expand when a threaded rod or screw is inserted and rotated. Common applications of drop-in anchors include shelving, plumbing, affixing light fixtures and overhead hangers, to name a few. Stainless steel drop-in anchors are normally used outdoors while zinc coated anchors are for indoor use. Drop in anchors are available in various diameter sizes and lengths.
