Arc gouging torches are equipment used for holding carbon electrodes in cutting or removing metal from a workpiece. These torches are connected to a constant current, high voltage power source to effectively melt metals. Additionally, a compressed air line is also attached to these torches to supply the necessary air to blow and remove molten metal. The air comes out of the air outlet holes in the adjustable torch heads and dictates the gouging direction of the metal.
