Hook Spanners, also referred to as C spanners and C-Hook spanners, are specialized wrenches used to loosen fasteners with outside notches. They have a C-shaped head with a lug at the end that fits in one of the notches on the nut. C spanners are also available with adjustable hooks, wherein the jaw can be moved to accommodate different sizes of fasteners. Hook spanners are normally used in industrial and automotive industries.
