C-Clamps, also known as G-Clamps or G-Cramps, are used to temporarily hold metallic or wood materials during assembly. C-Clamps consist of a C-shaped steel, or cast iron, with a threaded adjustable screw at the bottom. Turning this screw will create the desired clamping pressure on the workpieces. C-clamps are generally used for welding, carpentry or cutting.
