Brad Point Bits, also known as wood bits, lip and spur bits, or W-point bits, are used to make precise holes into wood. They have a sharp brad at the tip called the brad point, that digs and centers the bit in position to avoid slippage and to create an exactly placed borehole. Furhermore, the sharp shoulder cutters in its circumference help create clean and precise edges. Brad point bits are used in various woodworking applications and are available in different sizes and sets.
