Heat resistant gloves are thermal working gloves designed to protect the user from burns and other hazards in working with hot objects. These gloves are rated based on EN407 standards with a six-digit number that corresponds to resistance to flammability, contact heat, convective heat, radiant heat, small splashes of molten metal, and finally resistance to large splashes of molten metal. Heat resistant gloves are used in foundries, boilers, refineries, ovens, and other applications involving flames or sparks.
