Cut resistant gloves are hand protection equipment designed to protect the wearer from cuts and punctures. Most of these cut-resistant gloves are cut-and-sewn gloves made from cut-resistant materials like aramid (Kevlar®), high-performance polyethylene (HPPE), polyvinyl acetate (PVA), or fiberglass yarns. Cut-resistant gloves are rated in five classes based on EN388 standards, with Class 1 being the lowest and Class 5 being the highest. These safety gloves are commonly used in automotive assembly, glass handling, mining, and construction, to name a few.
