Fuel nozzles are devices attached to delivery hoses to facilitate dispensing of fuel into gas tanks or containers. These nozzles have a handle and a lever that controls the valve to initiate flow and a spout to direct the outflow of fuel. Fuel pump nozzles may have a sensor at the tip of their nozzles that automatically cuts the flow when the tank is detected to be full or may require the operator to manually release the lever to stop dispensing fuel.
