Cup washers, also referred to as cupped washers, beveled washers, terminal washers, and flanged cup washers, are finishing washers used to add aesthetic appeal by providing a flush and smooth finish with screw heads. They have bowl-shaped central depression that provides a snug fit for screw heads. Furthermore, cupped washers are also used as spring retainers and as spacers.
