Double thread screws, also referred to as double ended screws or hanger bolts, are headless screws that have two threads instead of one. In place of a traditional head screw is a threaded bolt shank. They are commonly used for attaching or suspending components from wood or in situations where only a single fastener is required. Since hanger bolts are headless, a full pilot hole is required before installation. Double threaded screws are available in various lengths and sizes.
