Fascia bolt assemblies consist of a hex bolt with a wide and smaller profile head, nut, and a washer. They are normally used in roofing installation and repair. The bolt is inserted in pre-drilled holes passing through the materials being fastened and the washer is placed before the nut is screwed in the shank. The wide head of the bolt ensures maximum contact and grip with the materials and the use of washers distribute the load and protect the fasteners from the environment.
