Cylindrical rubber mounts with a threaded stud at each end (catalogue type 1), 40 Shore hardness. 20 sizes from 13 to 100 mm diameter, with heights from 13 to 60 mm.
The rubber body is bonded to metal end plates and isolates vibration and absorbs shock between a machine and its support. Bolt the mount to the machine at one end and to the base at the other. Each size has its own part number, listed in the table below with thread size, static deflection and, where the catalogue lists it, the maximum compressive load.

Selecting and fitting
Choose the mount from the load it carries, the deflection you can allow, the thread on the machine and the space available. A softer rubber (lower Shore number) deflects more under load, and a harder rubber carries more load.
At the same hardness, the other mount styles are listed under Cylindrical Rubber Mount, Male-Female, 40 Shore, 16 to 100 mm Diameter and Cylindrical Rubber Mount, Male-Buffer, 40 Shore, 16 to 100 mm Diameter.
