The Sutton T430 is a machine nut tap (bottoming chamfer) for UNC threads, made from high speed steel (HSS) with a bright finish. This listing covers 4 sizes from 1/4 x 20 TPI to 1/2 x 13 TPI.
The tap has a bottoming chamfer (Form E, 1.5 to 2 threads on the lead), for blind holes with very short thread run-out.
The tap is built to BS 949.
