Sutton 51mm H127 Multi-Purpose TCT Holesaw - 54mm Cutting Depth

The Sutton H127 is a tungsten carbide tipped (TCT) multi-purpose holesaw with a 54 mm cutting depth. The range has 28 sizes from 16 to 152 mm. It is designed to cut timber, hardwood, softwood, MDF, plasterboard, compressed fibre cement sheet, cement sheet, plastics, ceramic tiles and abrasive materials.

The TCT teeth are designed to cut 5 times faster than conventional bi-metal holesaws in timber. Deep cut-outs allow swift, easy core ejection. The thread follows the international standard, so the holesaw fits all standard arbors. Arbors are sold separately. Each holesaw is packed in a space-saving hang pack with the size clearly marked.

Using the holesaw

• Fit the holesaw to an arbor with the matching thread. Arbors are sold separately.
• Keep the drill speed moderate and the pressure steady. The teeth do the cutting, so avoid forcing the cut.
• Withdraw the holesaw from time to time to clear dust and chips, and use the deep cut-outs to push the core clear.
• Wear eye protection and a dust mask suited to the material, particularly when cutting fibre cement sheet, cement sheet or ceramic tile.
• Use the BD26 pilot drill with this range.
