The Rhombus H8 (PT) direction and total lock twin wheel castor is a medical castor for hospital beds and clinical equipment. It has durable twin non-marking polyurethane wheel treads, an aluminium frame under a synthetic cover, and an integrated central selection for free swivel, total lock and directional (steer) lock.

The castor comes with a 125 mm wheel rated for 120 kg or a 150 mm wheel rated for 150 kg, with precision bearings in the swivel section and sealed precision bearings in the wheels. The manufacturer states it meets ISO 22882:2004, the requirements for castors for hospital beds. An antistatic option is also listed.

Choose the wheel diameter by the load per castor and the clearance you need: 125 mm is rated for 120 kg and 150 mm for 150 kg. Confirm the short stem fitting suits the socket in your equipment, and contact AIMS if you need the antistatic option. Check the castor against the load on each castor, not the total load, and allow for uneven floors and shock loads.
