Air rivet guns are pneumatic tools used to drive blind rivets in metal fabrication and construction projects. The rivet mandrel is inserted in the gun nose while the protruding rivet head is placed into a pre-drilled hole. The air rivet gun then pneumatically pulls the mandrel until it snaps, leaving a fastened blind rivet. All mandrels removed are caught in a casing for proper collection and disposal. Air rivet guns have an air inlet where a hose can be connected to supply the device with compressed air.
