Love the reel.
So, up front, this is superior construction to other retractable hoses. I’ve had plenty, but if they face east or north, our sun destroys them. So I’m buying for hopefully longevity. And of course paying for it. But…they are areas for improvement. Noisy plastic clicking reeling out, relation others. No level wind, yes one less failure point, but in reality it feels like for the money this should have been engineered appropriately. At 25m typically 5m less than competitors. It doesn’t matter until it does. And the installation is less than satisfactory, went with their recommendation and had it ease out of the bricks within a week. Had to dynabolt the fitting in as I have done previously with competitor models. It’s going nowhere now. Hose and sprayer are of superior quality to competitors and have thus far surpassed my expectations. Hope this helps someone.
I am very happy with the product and service from aims and the retracta hose. My family has a few of the units, one recent purchase of a new unit had it arrive with a crack in the bottom casing. No apparent carelessness on anyone’s part. The team at aims replaced the unit fully and I couldn’t be happier with the level of service and ease and quality of product. In todays climate this was exemplary service. Thank you once again.
