Loctite 410 Adhesive Gel Super Bonder

The Loctite 410 Toughened Instant Adhesive (Black) is a black, high-viscosity, rubber-toughened ethyl cyanoacrylate for bonding metals, plastics and rubbers. The rubber toughening gives it more flexibility, peel strength and shock resistance than standard instant adhesives, so bonds hold up better under impact. It fixtures in 30 to 60 seconds, fills gaps up to 0.15 mm and reaches 22 N/mm² lap shear strength on grit-blasted steel. This is the 20 g bottle.

Put a small amount on one clean, degreased surface, then bring the parts together straight away and hold them in position — humidity in the air sets it off, with the strongest results in thin bond lines of around 0.05 mm. Give it at least 24 hours before exposing the joint to chemicals or solvents, and keep it away from pure oxygen, oxygen-rich systems, chlorine and other strong oxidisers.
