How to Reset Your Password

There are two reasons why you'll need to do this:

  • You cannot log into your account, because you forgot your password.
  • You are logged into your account, and you want to update your password.

 

If you forgot your password:

  1. 'Click Here' to request a new one.
    • Alternatively, you may click the Click Here button below the "My Password is" field in the login page.
  2. In the "Email Address" field, enter the email address you used to create an account.
  3. Click SEND ME A NEW PASSWORD.
    • You will be taken to the "Password Reset Confirmation" page. 
    • If there is an AIMS online account associated with the email address you entered, you will receive an email from webmaster@aimsindustrial.com.au about a password change.
    • If there is none, then it's possible that there are no AIMS online account for that email.
  4. In the email, copy the new password that we've auto-generated for you.
    • For security reasons, this new password is just valid for five minutes.
  5. If you are still on the "Password Reset Confirmation" page, click CONTINUE TO LOGIN.
  6. In the "My Email Address Is" field, enter your email address.
  7. In the "My Password Is" field, paste the new password.
  8. Click LOGIN NOW.
    • You should now be successfully logged in to your account.
    • For security reasons, make sure to update your password.
    • Refer to the section below to know how you can do that.

 

If you are logged into your account, and you want to update your password:

  1. Go to your Account Summary page.
  2. Click CHANGE MY PASSWORD.
  3. In the "Current Password" field, enter your existing password.
  4. In the "New Password" field, enter the new password you want to use.
  5. In the "Confirm New Password" field, re-enter your new password.
  6. Click CHANGE MY PASSWORD.
    • You will be taken to the "Password Changed" confirmation page.
    • You will receive an email confirming your password change.
    • For security reasons, your new password will not be displayed on either the confirmation page or email.
