BS 06B Simplex Taper Lock Sprocket, 114 Teeth, Cast Iron

These cast iron simplex taper lock and pilot bore sprockets suit BS (ISO 606 B series) roller chain. The range covers 7 models across 5 chain sizes, 06B, 08B, 10B, 12B and 16B, from 57 to 114 teeth.

Each taper lock model has a tapered bore that takes a taper lock bush. The bush is machined to your shaft size and keyway, and locks the sprocket on the shaft when its screws are tightened. Bushes are listed separately on AIMS.

2 models in this listing (08B-1-95PB-CI and 10B-1-114PB-CI) are a pilot bore sprocket, which has a starter hole that you machine out to your shaft size and cut a keyway in.

Choose the sprocket by chain size and number of teeth. The chain size must match your chain, and the tooth count sets the speed ratio. Then choose a taper lock bush of the series shown for that model, bored to your shaft diameter with a keyway. Check that the bush series covers your shaft diameter.
