Bossweld Medium Back Cap, 17/18/26 Series fits 17, 18 and 26 series TIG torches. It is the medium-length version. It is supplied in a pack of 2.

The back cap screws onto the rear of the torch head. It seals the head and clamps the tungsten and collet in place, and its length sets how much tungsten you can fit: a long cap takes a full-length electrode, while a short cap suits restricted access.

Selecting the right option

Match the back cap to your torch series, then choose the length for the job: long for full-length tungsten, medium for general use, and short for tight access.
