The Bossweld 308LSi Stainless Steel MIG Wire is a precision layer wound, low-carbon stainless steel wire for welding a wide range of austenitic 18/8 stainless steel pipe, plate, forgings and castings. It is classified AWS A5.9 ER308LSi (manufacturer-stated).
The low carbon content reduces the risk of carbide precipitation and intergranular corrosion, and the higher silicon content improves weld edge wetting. It comes in 0.8, 0.9 and 1.2 mm on 5 kg and 15 kg spools.
