BossSafe Inferno Mega View Electronic Welding Helmet
Available
The BossSafe Inferno Mega View electronic welding helmet is an auto-darkening helmet from the BossSafe Mega View range, finished in a red shell with a bold mechanical graphic. Its extra large 100 x 93 mm viewing area is the biggest of the three BossSafe electronic helmet ranges AIMS lists, with shade adjustable across DIN 5–9 and 9–13, a grinding mode and four arc sensors.
The manufacturer states that the Mega View range is designed to protect the eyes, neck and face from flash burn, ultraviolet and infrared light, sparks and heat during welding tasks. The manufacturer also states an optical class of 1/1/1/2, that the range suits MIG, TIG and stick (MMA) welding and carbon arc gouging, and that it is certified to the applicable welding helmet and eye protection standards. The BossSafe Inferno Mega View, BossSafe Delta Mega View, BossSafe Orion Mega View and BossSafe Vixen Mega View share the same specification and differ in their graphics.
A technical data sheet is held for this helmet. If your site or procedure specifies a lens rating or standard, check it against the data sheet before ordering, and contact AIMS if you would like a copy for your safety file.

Selecting the right option
The Mega View has the largest viewing area of the three BossSafe electronic helmet ranges (100 x 93 mm), against 100 x 53 mm on the Trade Series and 100 x 67 mm on the Wide View.
