The Bossweld FR-40 Welders Snood is a lightweight flame retardant hood that protects the head and neck, worn under a welding helmet. It is comfortable to wear and breathable, and it covers the areas where spatter can get in around the helmet.
It is most useful for overhead welding, and anywhere there is a risk of spatter entering the top of the helmet.

Selecting the right option
Choose a snood where spatter reaches the neck or the top of the helmet.
