Bordo HSSE-V3 Yellow Band Roll Form Tap
- HSSE-V3 Yellow Band Roll Form Tap
 - HSSE-V3 HSSE with 3% Vanadium high performance tap.
 - Optimised for thread forming in Aluminium and Aluminium Alloys.
 - When using fluteless (roll form / thread flow) taps no chips are produced.
 - Formed threads have a smoother surface finish and greater tensile strength under dynamic stress than cut threads.
 - It is essential to use a high quality lubricating fluid when using fluteless taps.
 - Materials with a minimum elongation of 5% and a tensile strength no greater than 1,000 M/mm² are suitable for thread forming.
 - Fluteless taps use different tapping drill sizes than thread cutting taps!
 - For machining materials with Hardness < 200 HB: Tensile Strength <700 N/mm².
