Round Belts, also known as O-ring Belts, Endless Round Belts or Endless Drive Belts, are solid or hollow lengths of cylindrical material made from polymers, namely Nitrile, Neoprene, Polyurethane and Rubber. Buta-N or Nitrile round belts are ideal for applications involving alcohol and oils since they are resistant to petrochemical hydrocarbons. Neoprene round belts can operate in a wide range of temperature conditions and can withstand damage due to twisting and breakage. Polyurethane round belts exhibit excellent elongation, recovery and toughness, while Rubber round belts have unique elastic properties. Endless round belts may be reinforced by an internal cord to improve tensile strength. Round belts can be cut according to the required length with both ends connected by welding, gluing, stapling or by using connectors. Round belts are normally used in light to heavy duty power transmission applications such as packaging machineries, printers and conveyors.
