Asada SD59912 Dies Alloy NPT (AST Automatic)

Asada alloy NPT threading dies for AST automatic dieheads, supplied by model. They are made from special pre heat-treated steel for long life and easy threading.

The life of the dies is greatly affected by the quality of cutting oil used, so Asada Threading Oil is strongly recommended. Alloy dies are for general purpose threading, such as black or galvanised pipe and rod.

Selecting the right option

Choose the die by thread type (NPT) and machine or die head (AST Automatic) and the size you thread. For stainless and high tensile steels choose HSS dies. Use Asada Threading Oil, Standard Grade or Asada Neat Threading Oil, High Grade to extend die life.
