Alpha PZ250SM PZ2 x 50mm ThunderMAX Pozidriv Impact Power Bit

The Alpha ThunderMAX PZ250SM is a PZ2 Pozidriv impact power bit, 50mm overall length, with an engineered torsion zone, supplied as a wrapped pack of 5 (manufacturer-stated).

Alpha states that the torsion zone gives strength under high impact and high torque loads, and that the bit is made from S2 raw material with full body hardness, a precision machined tip and a black oxide finish. Magnetism helps the bit grip the screw and prevent cam-out. The maker lists the range for cordless drills and for metal to metal fastening where screws are tightened down hard.

The Alpha catalogues list this 50mm Pozidriv power bit in wrap (5 pieces, the pack on this page), handi pack (10 pieces) and card (1, 3 and 5 pieces) formats, and describe the wrap format as suited to bulk storage. It is a power bit, so it goes straight into the chuck or an impact driver.
